Q: i would like to build a top for my workbench with layers of plywood. i’d also like to install benchdogs. what type of plywood will work best for this situation?. Plywood bench 54 fine woodworking. photos: mark schofield; drawings: chuck lockhart tools & shops 2006 i benchtop detail deck screw, 3 in. long built-in joinery. We are about to build the top of our workbench, and want to use either several layers of mdf or plywood, depending on what is better, i am having a hard time finding.
